COVID-19 Update: Russia opens air borders for Serbia, Cuba and Japan

In accordance with the government decree No. 2649-r dated October 14, 2020, restrictions on entry into the Russian Federation through air checkpoints have been lifted for citizens of Serbia, Cuba and Japan, as well as for persons permanently residing in these countries.

Validity terms for stay suspended until December 15

The decree of the President No. 580 dated 23.09.2020 extends the period for suspension of terms of stay for foreign citizens and suspension of terms for some of their migration documents. Also the decree introduced a couple new provisions.

Russia opens air borders for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and South Korea

In accordance with the government decree No. 2406-r dated September 20, 2020, restrictions on entry into the Russian Federation through air checkpoints have been lifted for citizens of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and South Korea, as well as for persons permanently residing in these countries.

COVID-19 in Russia: Citizens and Residents of Egypt, Maldives, UAE may enter Russia

In accordance with the government decree of September 2, 2020 No. 2236-r, restrictions on entry into the Russian Federation through air checkpoints have been lifted for citizens and permanent residents of Egypt, Maldives and the UAE.

From August 1 additional changes clarifying the procedure for entering the Russian Federation for foreign and Russian citizens came into force. These changes include the requirements for testing for coronavirus infection.

In accordance with Russian Government decree dated July 24, 2020 No. 1915-r, restrictions on entry into the Russian Federation through air checkpoints have been lifted for citizens of Great Britain, Turkey and Tanzania, as well as persons permanently residing in these countries.

We would like to inform you that Chief sanitary officer has signed another Decree dated July 15, 2020 No. 21. In accordance with this Decree 14-days quarantine is still mandatory for a wide range of people entering Russia.
