COVID-19 IN RUSSIA: CHANGE IN QUARANTINE RULES FOR ARRIVALS FROM THE UK

The mandatory 14-day self-isolation of persons arriving from Great Britain and Northern Ireland has been cancelled by the Decree of the Chief sanitary doctor of the Russian Federation.

The change took force on 4 September 2021.

3 MORE COUNTRIES INCLUDED IN THE “GREEN LIST” FOR ENTERING RUSSIA

We would like to inform you that in accordance with the Government no 2156-r dated August 4, 2021 (link in Russian) restrictions on entry into Russia and issuing of migration permits have been lifted for citizens of Moldova, Dominicana and Bahrain, as well as for persons permanently residing in these countries. As it was earlier announced the regular flights with these countries were resumed from August 9.

RUSSIA ADOPTS LAW ON MANDATORY FINGERPRINTING AND MEDICAL EXAMS

We would like to inform you that on 1 July 2021 the President of Russia signed a law which introduces obligatory fingerprinting and medical examination for foreign nationals who arrive in Russia for work purposes or stay in Russia for other purposes longer than 90 days.

Please be informed that the Russian government has officially lifted restrictions on entry for citizens and permanent residents of Belgium, Bulgaria, Jordan, Ireland, Italy, Cyprus, North Macedonia and USA as per the decree No. 1745-r dated 28.06.2021.

Please be informed that the Russian government has officially lifted restrictions on entry for citizens and permanent residents of Austria, Hungary, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Mauritius, Morocco, and Croatia as per the decree No. 1649-r dated 18.06.2021.

New Covid-19 regulations in Moscow

Starting Monday, June 28, Moscow restaurants will only accept diners who present an official QR code proving their vaccination, recovery from Covid-19 over the past six months or negative PCR test results conducted within 72 hours.
