COVID-19 IN RUSSIA: RUSSIA RESUMES FLIGHTS TO FINLAND, QATAR, INDIA, VIETNAM

Please be informed that the governmental Operational staff for the prevention of importing and spreading of the new coronavirus infection has decided to resume air traffic with four more countries.

The decision will take effect on 27 January 2021.

What are the changes?

Effective 27 December 2020 passenger flights between Russia and the following countries will be resumed:

1. Finland
2. Qatar
3. India
4. Vietnam

Who is affected?

Russian and foreign citizens who travel from Russia to the listed countries or vice versa.

Intermark comment

We expect that these countries will also be included in the list of states exempted from entry restrictions for citizens and permanent residents who travel by direct flights from the respective countries. However, the relevant governmental decree has not been published yet.
