We would like to inform you that effective 2 January 2019, foreign nationals can register online in Belarus.
What are the changes?
Foreign nationals who have arrived in Belarus through international check points (not from Russia) can submit a request for online registration via the Unified Portal of E-services.
Details of the procedure:
v, In order to register online one, should create a personal account on the portal website portal.gov.by then fill in and submit the request form.
v The request can be submitted by a foreign national himself or by a representative. A representative should log in their personal account and specify the foreign national’s details in the request form.
v The registration request is approved the same day, no state fee is charged.
v In case of successful registration a relevant notification is sent to the personal account.
It is recommended to take a screenshot or print out the details of the performed registration as proof.
Please note that a foreign national or their host party can choose to visit a local MIA office in person – the relevant option remains available.
NB! A visit to the MIA office in person is mandatory for performing the registration in case of the following:
Ø a foreign national has arrived in Belarus from Russia
Ø the allowed term of stay in Belarus needs to be extended
Ø a request for online registration has been rejected
