Dear Clients and Partners!
We would like to inform you that, starting from May 15, 2017, domestic flights between Russia and Belarus have been shifted to international sectors of Russian airports. Third-country nationals travelling via these flights will be going through border control in Russian airports.
What are the changes for citizens of Russia and Belarus?
As it was before citizens of Russia and Belarus will be able to cross the border without need for border control and getting stamps for crossing the border – in accordance with the Agreement on the Union State.
With that in mind, when moving from Belarus to Russia the passengers must keep the boarding pass to show it at the airport of arrival.
What are the changes for third-country nationals?
As of now third-country nationals have to go through border control as it is dictated by general rules. Although in Belarussian airports border control still doesn’t take place.
Who is affected by the changes?
Passengers taking flights between Russia and Belarus.
